The Baleno is the first premium hatchback offered by Maruti Suzuki in India. It gained massive popularity in the market since the day of its official launch. It soon became one of the top selling cars in the country and broke a record by outselling the massively popular Swift.
With the increasing number of Balenos on road everyday, owners have started opting for custom modifications to differentiate themselves from the rest. Below are some of the most elegantly modified Balenos of India –
Indians have developed a great love for chrome and shiny components in a car over the years. But the Baleno above has been un-chromed, means that every chrome component and part has been replaced with a non-shiny one or a totally blacked-out one. The roof has been blacked-out as well.
The fog lamps have been transformed into LED DRLs for an enhanced premium look. The taillights have been smoked and the vehicle gets 17-inch custom 9J alloys and upgraded Brembo brakes.
Similar to the Un-chromed Baleno above, this vehicle also shed all the chrome parts and components to give it a much cleaner look. The whole front grille has been replaced with an all-black counterpart with a blacked-out Suzuki logo.
The roof has been painted gloss-black to give it a beautiful dual-tone finish. The rear view mirrors and the rims have been blacked-out as well.
Dual Race Strips
Being a premium hatchback, the Baleno already has some neat and sharp looking lines on the body. The addition of dual race-stripes makes it unique and stand out apart. This Baleno here gets a matte-black whole body wrap with contrast dual racing-stripes running through the middle of it.
The RVMs have been painted with red contrast accents and the addition of black rims makes it very appealing.
This is the true example of a dual-tone Baleno. The roof has been painted white along with two black stripes on it that extends till the bonnet of the vehicle.
The front and rear lower lip, along with the side-skirts have been painted white as well to keep them synchronized with the roof.
This all-black Baleno look really attractive and brutal. This Baleno gets a custom exhaust system and a customized body kit. The front grille has been all blacked-out too along with the Suzuki logo.
The tyres are fatter along with new 17-inch rims. The un-chrome process done on some parts surely capture a lot of attention too.
Low rider vehicles are popular to turn a lot of heads upon them. No other mod can make a car look better than lowering it. This Baleno from Kerela dropped a few inches and looks truly mesmerizing.
This Red Baleno gets all new bespoke alloy wheels and a custom lip-spoiler. Along the sides, there is a custom body kit. The front fog lamps get angel-eye DRLs with the front grille blacked-out along with the Suzuki logo.
Black and White
The Dual-tone Black and White job on this Baleno looks special. The roof and bonnet has been covered in matte black while the rest of the body is kept white. This job makes the vehicle very appealing.
The front grille has also been blacked-out as per every vehicle on this list along with the addition of DRLs on stock bumper. It also gets wide tyres to make all the heads turn too.
All About Alloys
There is no doubt that the alloy wheels contribute a lot to the overall looks of the vehicle. This example here sports 17-inch MOMO Alloy Wheels along with low profile tyres which makes it look much premium than stock.
White, being one of the most preferred colour of car buyers in India made this Baleno much premium than before. The owner did go for some aftermarket mods such as gloss-black roof, blacked-out front grille and full LED front fog lamps. The tyres and rims have also been upgraded too.
This Baleno here gets custom Pete’s ECU remap that pushed the power from 75 BHP | 190 Nm all the way to 92 BHP | 230 Nm. Suspensions and other vital components have also been upgraded keeping the increased power numbers in mind.
Baleno RS, the long awaited performance version of the vehicle is powered by a 1.0 Liter turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 101 Bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque. The Baleno RS already gets blacked-out alloy wheels and a different bumper to differentiate it from the regular Baleno, the owner here upgraded it further with new alloy wheels, smoked taillights, new RS badge upon the front grille and a new rear bumper skid-plate.
Suzuki doesn’t offer much leather in their Baleno even in the top end trim of the same. Therefore, the owner of this Baleno made the vehicle even more luxurious by getting full leather beige interiors and diamond stitched patterns to give it a very-very premium look.
The instrument cluster gets faux-wood and the door handles get piano black surrounds. The pedals have also been replaced with all new aluminium ones.
